Hello Warrior Families, July 22, 2019

Greetings from CPHS. We are having a great but very busy summer so far. A lot of students have worked hard to make up credits in summer school and well over 100 incoming freshmen began their Warrior Academy work this week! Thanks to Communities in Schools of Lakewood for their outstanding work in support of our students preparing for and supporting Warrior Academy.

Over the summer there are a few things to remember.

  1. Summer school concludes this week- on July 26th.
  2. Summer Office Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  3. Enrollment Packets are available both in the Guidance Office and in the Main Office
  4. Incoming 9th Grade Students can still register for our expanded Warrior Academy that begins on July 22nd and concludes August 2nd. Families should have received registration information both at the middle school where students attended as well as through the mail. If you are not registered yet, please call the main office at 253-583-5500.
  5. Warrior 101- August 14th for all incoming 9th grade students. You will be able to pick up schedules, get lockers set up, take tours of the building, and other beginning of the year activities.
  6. Warrior Day- August 15th- for all 10-12 students- You will be able to pick up schedules, get lockers set up, take tours of the building, and other beginning of the year activities. Leo’s Photography will also be here to take pictures on this day. So any incoming 9th grade students may also be here for this day to get pictures done.
  7. New Warrior Orientation and Family Cookout- August 20th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to welcome all of our new students and their families.

All students who have requested Advanced Placement courses for next school year were provided Summer Work Packets for each AP course. These assignments are intended to help each student be prepared to enter the school year ready to be successful. The work will be due upon return to school in the fall.

August 3rd beginning at 9:00 a.m. is the Ready to Learn Fair through Caring for Kids. Once again, the event will be hosted here at Clover Park High School. This is a fantastic event and many of our CPHS Warriors will be volunteering once again to assist families.

Thank you for continuing to support our Clover Park Warriors. Our goal remains to make this the best educational opportunity and experience in the state. We can accomplish this if we all work together.

Sincerely, Tim Stults
Principal
