Congratulations to the class of 2025! To commemorate this milestone, we are celebrating the achievements of students from each graduating school in our CPSD Graduate Profiles.

Clover Park High School graduate Jaqueline Gonzalez-Mejia will attend Stanford University this fall on a full-ride scholarship to pursue engineering and mathematics. She looks forward to challenging herself in an environment that values independence, innovation and intellectual curiosity.

Reflecting on her time in CPSD, Jaqueline said, “My school really feels like home.” She credits the support and college readiness resources that helped shape her journey.

A passionate leader, she launched the school’s Environment Club and led as president, advocating for sustainability and strengthening community ties. She also held the role of vice president in the National Honor Society, participated in the city of Lakewood’s Youth Council and collaborated with Leaders of Change. These roles helped her connect with “kind and bright peers” and taught her how to make a positive impact.

One of her favorite high school moments was speaking at the district's teacher kickoff event with Leaders of Change, where she and fellow students laughed, danced and spread important messages about the value of educators. Jaqueline is especially proud of earning valedictorian honors while enrolled in the Running Start program.

"My admission to Stanford is not just a personal victory,” she said. "It's a win for the entire community that supported me.”

Way to go Jaqueline! Congratulations Timberwolves!
