December Message from the Principal

PACK in Action: November Highlights

As we enter December, I want to recognize the many ways our Clover Park High School Timberwolves demonstrated PACK values throughout November. Each accomplishment reflects what it means to be Present, Accountable, committed to our Community, and dedicated to helping one another Keep Safe. Our momentum is strong, and it is clear that we are truly on the rise.

We began the month by launching a new tradition—our first state sendoff celebration—honoring our cross-country runner who qualified for the State Meet. This event exemplified what it means to show up Present and proud for one another. We look forward to continuing this tradition for all future Timberwolves who earn the opportunity to compete at the state level.

Our school came together in gratitude during the Veteran’s Day Assembly, where students and staff demonstrated deep respect and a strong sense of Community. The student leadership and thoughtful programming made this a meaningful moment for all.

Across campus, activities and programs showcased our students’ accountability and creativity. Our Drama Club is preparing for its bilingual production of Aladdin, opening Friday, December 6—an example of students being Accountable to their craft and dedicated to creating inclusive experiences. We also celebrated our Daffodil Princess Selection Night, highlighting leadership, service, and school pride.

College and career readiness remained a major focus. Students participated in STAMP World Language testing, engaged with numerous college and military recruiters, attended the Seattle Black College Expo, and met with Central Washington University for an On-the-Spot Admissions event. These opportunities empower students to take Accountability for their futures and explore postsecondary pathways with confidence.

Student well-being continued to be a priority as CPSD athletes participated in mental health training focused on awareness, resilience, and supporting peers—key components of helping one another Keep Safe. In addition, our community demonstrated remarkable generosity as Thanksgiving Holiday Baskets were distributed to families, reinforcing how we live out Community in action.

Clubs and student organizations also remained active, offering students multiple ways to stay Present, involved, and connected.

Throughout November, our Timberwolves showed what it means to live PACK every day. Thank you to our staff, families, and community partners for supporting this work and for helping our students grow as learners and leaders.

Clover Park High School is truly on the rise.

From our PACK to yours,

Jenny Appel
