To receive the best pricing on caps and gowns, orders should be placed by December 10, 2024. All orders placed by December 10th will be delivered to CPHS on our Jostens Delivery Day – typically in the month of April. If you are unable to pick up your items on delivery day, you will be able to pick up your order from Ms. Reda in the guidance office. After December 10th, the price of Caps and Gowns goes from $57 to $72, so be sure to order before the deadline. If you have concerns about purchasing the cap and gown, please reach out to a member of the Senior Team.

All graduation attire and class of 2025 memorabilia can be purchased at www.jostens.com. For any questions on Jostens orders, please reach out to our Josten’s representative Rick Morton at 253-210-0575 or [email protected]

Diplomas

Please check the spelling of your Senior’s name in Skyward for their diploma. This is your chance to make sure that we have your full legal name – including middle names and suffixes – listed and spelled correctly for your diplomas according to your Birth Certificate. If your name in Skyward does not match your birth certificate, please bring in a copy as soon as possible to Ms. Reda in the guidance office.

At the graduation ceremony, students receive a green diploma cover as they cross the stage. The actual diploma (the insert with the student’s name on it) will be available at the end of the ceremony at the Tacoma Dome (as long as there are no holds). If students choose to not pick up their diploma on the night of graduation, they will have to wait to pick up until after the last day of school on June 11th.

Please Note: Diplomas will be held if students owe the school fines or fees. They will be released once all fines owed have been paid or cleared.

Graduation Ceremony

Our 2025 Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for June 5th at the Tacoma Dome. The Graduation Ceremony will start at 4 pm and will last about an hour and a half. Seniors should plan to arrive at the Tacoma Dome 45 minutes prior to the start of the Graduation Ceremony. Programs will be available that day which list the order of events as well as all members of the senior class and their awards. Students are required to wear cap, gown, stole, tassel, in the proper manner. Caps are not to be decorated. Graduates are also permitted to wear an item that represents their culture that drapes around their neck (stole). This item is to be no larger in length and width of the graduation stole and must be approved by the school principal no later than two weeks prior to the date of the graduation ceremony.

Graduation Pictures

There will be a company taking pictures at graduation that will be available for purchase. More information about the company and how to purchase these pictures will be available in the Spring.

Graduation Programs

Graduation programs are distributed to graduates and their families at the graduation ceremony. The program is a nice keepsake that includes the order of the ceremony, all members of the senior class, and a list of awards received by the students.

Please Note: Awards received through the Clover Park Scholarship Application, as well as honor cords and other awards given through CPHS, will automatically be listed in the Graduation Program. Students who have received scholarships outside of those awarded through CPHS and wish to have that information included in the program must show the scholarship to the CRC. Due to production deadlines, information must be received by May 2nd  to be printed in the program.

Graduation Rehearsal

Seniors will do a walkthrough of rehearsal of Graduation on Wednesday, June 4th. Students are invited to join their class in the gathering hall for Senior Breakfast from 7:30 – 9:30, then Graduation Rehearsal will begin at 9:30 in Harry Lang Stadium. At rehearsal, students will find their assigned seats with their walking partners, practice processing, walking across the stage, and make sure their names are pronounced correctly. Rehearsal attendance is mandatory for all students who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony. The rehearsal will last about two hours. Caps and gowns are not required for the rehearsal.

Graduation Tickets

Each graduating senior will receive a selected number of free tickets from Clover Park High School. To receive their complimentary tickets, seniors must have completed the senior checkout process and have been approved to walk in the graduation ceremony. Students will be required to sign for these tickets, and if they are lost, they cannot be replaced.  Additional graduation tickets will be available for sale upon check out and at the Tacoma Dome before the graduation ceremony.

Seniors are encouraged to try out to be a Senior Speaker at one of the graduation events. Students interested in speaking at one of the events will sign up to try out by April 11, 2025. Students will present their speeches to a panel of judges April 16, 2025, after school in the PAC. Those chosen to speak will continue to meet with the graduation team in preparation for the events.
